Am I a good fit?
Cross-cultural church planting is a demanding and faith-challenging task. No one would dare attempt it if he or she was not convinced that the true architect and builder of Christ's church is God Himself. However, God has chosen to partner with human beings to accomplish this most important of tasks. In 30+ years of planting churches, GCM has discovered that successful cross-cultural church planters have several characteristics in common:
- Spiritual traits- sense of calling, full of faith, evangelistic zeal and a close walk with God
- Psychological traits - emotional stability, cultural adaptability, relational maturity and resilience
- Giftedness - ability to teach, train, mentor and inspire
- Training and Experience - formal or informal Biblical training and formal or informal ministry experience
