Quest Discovery Workshop

Quest is a three-day, intense retreat designed to better assess prospective church planters by placing them in an environment where assessors are able to see all aspects of each candidate’s personality and behavior.

Each church planting candidate or couple is matched with an assessment couple. The collective perception of the assessment team is able to evaluate at a much deeper level and to affirm each church planting candidate’s strengths, as well as identify areas of growth and recommend ways to help each one be a more effective church planter.

Many groups are now using the “Quest” model, and at GCM it has been a part of the assessment process for each mission team since 2010. Because of the intensity of the retreat, we are able to identify points of concern at an earlier stage and help the mission team be more effective.
