Begin Fundraising

At this point the new team member ‘goes public’ with his/her decision to be a part of the mission team, and the need to find financial partners. These ‘partners’ will consist of individuals, congregations, foundations and trusts. Prayer, determination, focus, mental toughness, and strong organizational skills will be required during this challenging phase. In most instances, from several months to a year or longer is necessary to complete the fundraising effort. Continent staff members encourage and assist each team member throughout.
